The video for Love More by Chris Brown see's Brown taking his friends to a club after they hear his song on the radio. The majority of the video is set at the club with high energy choreography and a feature from long-time collaborator Nicki Minaj. The video is both narrative and performance based as it starts of with Chris being dragged out to a party by a friend but once the video mainly begins to take place at the club it becomes purely performance based. Themes explored in the video include partying, lust and dancing.

Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj are represented as themselves throughout the entire video, they are not playing a character. Evidently Brown has more screen time and prestige than Minaj as it is his music video featuring her. The lip-syncing takes place throughout the video even through Brown's heavy dance routines. The video starts off with a girl appearing at Brown's house telling him to hurry up. A blue ectoplasmic special effect trail is left behind as she walks to his house. His body appears as a skeleton until he gets dressed and meets her downstairs. The video becomes quite comical as they get into the car and start dancing when the song Love More comes on the radio. Once they get out of the car they arrive at a club where the rest of the video is set.

The video utilizes a range of camera angles, special effects and editing technique. The song has very fast-paced and features heavy dance routines. There are many close ups of Brown and Minaj's face so that the audience can clearly see him singing the lyrics to the song. Many mid and long-shots are put in place to display the mise-en-scene of the video. The extreme long shots in the video give the audience a chance to see Brown and his dancers performing the choreography, whereas they give the audience a chance to take a look at Nicki's hair and fashion she is wearing in the video. To keep the video's pace fast there are many cut shots differing for close-ups to see Brown singing the lyrics to extreme long shots to see Brown executing the choreography. There are a few special effects at the beginning of the video. This includes the neon blue ghost-like trail on the car, the girl's footsteps and Chris Brown's body. The mise-en-scene varies throughout the video. It is mostly the inside of a packed, electronic, colourful club, but it appears to be the surroundings of Chris Brown's house at the beggining of the video.
The target audience of the video is Chris Brown music fans primarily. It also appeals to causal Pop/R&B music fans that listen to music channels and watch YouTube/Vevo. The music video also appeal to fans of Nicki Minaj who will be interested in seeing her feature in the song. They are all encouraged to buy the song particularly on YouTube because of the links to iTunes in the description box. Additionally the music video encourages them to buy the record because it gives the song more exposure and it gives the song a chance to grow on fans that maybe don't like the song when they first hear it.

Ideas that myself and my group would take from the video is the extreme-close ups of the artists while they are singing and also the way Minaj effortlessly appears in the video. This is particularly important to us as the song that we are planning on using for our music video contains a feature and we are researching how to ease the feature into the song properly.
